Pinterest is out of control crazy with activity. Even when I'm not active on the Pinterest website, people continue to Like, Share and Comment on my Boards and Like, Share and Comment on pictures I Pinned months ago.
Whenever I browse through Pinterest and I Pin pictures or videos, I gain a Follower which leads to increased traffic to my websites, blogs, articles and Youtube videos. Any action I take on Pinterest gives my online world a boost of visitors.
Another plus to using Pinterest as a form of Internet Marketing is that you can Hashtag keywords and as most seasoned Internet Marketers know, Hashtagging helps any post go viral faster.
