Linkedin intimidated me for years. I could not grasp how to use the platform until Linkedin revamped their platform to make it more user-friendly. I'm so happy they did because since the revamping, I can not imagine my web presence without a Linkedin profile.
Every time I expand, acquire a new skill, create a new webpage, blog or video, I must share it via Linkedin. Linkedin has helped me make a handful of professional connections.
Linkedin has become more laid-back too. You can upload a background picture, share posts more openly and you can Share an Update, Upload a Picture or Publish a Post. Linkedin is not just for company professionals anymore. Internet entrepreneurs, freelancers, content writers and the like rely on Linkedin to help them make connections.
